20×40 Island Rental Exhibit | Abel and Schafer
Founded in 1892, Abel and Schafer is a leading producer of baking premixes and baking products. Today, Abel & Schafer, Inc. USA manufactures over 200 products in its modern manufacturing facility in Ronkonkoma, New York.
For the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE Show), Abel and Schafer partnered with DisplayCraft to produce a 20×40 Island Rental Exhibit. Their needs were vast. Not only did they need ample space to merchandise their most popular baked goods. They also required an area to prepare them on the premises.
DisplayCraft created a rental exhibit solution that combined system- and custom-based display components. The main structure, constructed of a modular panel system, stood 16′ tall and displayed the Able and Schafer logo prominently. Just below, various baked goods organized in a grid pattern were hung like pieces of art while framing the kitchen opening. Inside, the fully functioning kitchen flooded the isles with the scent of baking bread and pastries, inviting attendees to explore the space. A custom pastry counter display greeted attendees with a tempting selection of baked goods, while a group of cafe tables provided plenty of room for sampling. Completing the space, custom counters supported by wooden bread displays and eye-catching graphics draw in booth traffic from all isles. Finally, an extensive fabric hanging sign visually identified the space from across the hall.
